When and why did you start blogging?

I was home from school for quite some time sick with pneumonia, so I started playing around with using blogspot out of boredom and made a few posts. It was in 2010 that I began posting regularly about my life, style and interests as a hobby.

How would you describe yourself?

Oh man, perfectionist has got to be the #1 word to describe myself! It carries through to almost everything I do, I like everything I publish or put out there to be exactly right. I’m very particular.

What do you find interesting in the fashion world at the moment?

I’m really fascinated with trend revivals, but in particular how fast they seem to return and circulate these days. For example, if you discover something that might be an upcoming trend you have to get on it ASAP because within a month you could see it everywhere!

What kind of music do you listen to?

My taste is rather scattered, but I really will listen to anything I like no matter the genre. I listen to everything from Rap to Synth to Trillwave to game soundtracks.

Favourite travel destination?

Los Angeles or Tokyo.

What/who are your inspirations?

Although these change frequently, I’d say Yui Fukuda, Mademoiselle Yulia and Cher Horowitz have been my style icons for a solid amount of time now, but I have about 20 others too! Recently I’ve also been inspired by late 90s/early 2000s music, film and fashion.

What plans do you have for the future?

There are so many things I want to do! Styling, photography, videography, clothing design, art direction. I’ll have to become the ultimate slashie. I’d say my immediate plans involve developing my own label and hopefully going back to Japan.

Dream job?

I’d love to be working in the fields I mentioned above. Perhaps a fashion stylist while managing my own label, working between my home here in Sydney and also LA and Tokyo. Either that or become a khaleesi.
