Last summer I went to Snæland too many times. Snæland is my favorite store in Reykjavík. They make the perfect bragdarefur, extra creamy ice cream with fruits and candy, all mixed perfectly with the craziest colors and taste.

Last summer I learnt that Snæland is not only the name of my favorite store in Reykavík. From snær (“snow”) + land (“land”), Snæland is the name that the viking Naddoddr gave to Iceland in the 9th century. Snowland, of course. It makes so much sense.

Last summer I started seeing Iceland in a different way. From now on Snæland is the place.
